By Car

From Glasgow & the West: M8 to Junction 3. Take 3rd exit at Livingston East Roundabout and follow A899 through Uphall.
From Edinburgh, Stirling, M9 & Forth Road Bridge: At Newbridge Roundabout (M8 J2) take A89 and follow for Broxburn. (Coming from Stirling, Uphall is best reached by exiting M9 at J2 and following B8046.)
From the South (Carlisle/M6/M74): Pick up M8 Eastbound to J3 then A899 through Uphall. Alternatively leave M74 at J13 Abington and take A702 via Biggar.
From the South (Newcastle/A1): Follow Edinburgh and take City Bypass, then M8 to J2 Newbridge. Take A89 and follow for Broxburn.

Broxburn Academy: Half way between Uphall and Broxburn, on the Main Street, turn onto Cardross Road (opposite the Police Station.) The Academy is at the top of the hill, on the right. Parking is available.

Uphall Community Centre is signposted from the Main Street at the West end of Uphall. Turn onto St Andrew's Drive (next to Fiat Garage). First left then first right takes you into the Community Centre car park.

Strathbrock Community Centre is not far from the school and is signposted from the Main Street. Note the venue is not on the Main Street as it's address suggests - turn off West Main Street at the traffic lights just down (East) from the Police Station. It is part of the same complex as the Health Centre and is signposted "Partnership Centre". Use the far car park - the Community Centre entrance is at that end of the building.

By Public Transport

Take Bathgate train from Edinburgh and alight at Uphall. Number 6 bus (every 30 mins) will take you towards Broxburn. The bus stop is at the bottom of Cardross Road, just a few minutes walk from Broxburn Academy and Strathbrock Community Centre.

There is also a regular bus service from Edinburgh. Train and bus information is available from First

Uphall Community Centre is very close to bus stops on West Main Street. For those who enjoy a brisk walk, Uphall is about 15 minutes from the Edinburgh-Bathgate train at Uphall Station.

At present you cannot travel from Glasgow to Uphall Station by train without changing at Edinburgh. (This will change when the new Bathgate-Airdrie line is complete.) However, it is possible to travel from Glasgow Central to Livingston South then make the onward journey to Broxburn/Uphall by bus or taxi.

Please contact us if you need help finding any of the venues.
